Joseph Read was born 26 May 1767 in
Masonville, Burlington, VT, son of Mary Jones (father unknown). Rachael Eldridge was born 6 Feb 1770 in
Medford, NY, daughter of Obadiah Eldridge and Achsiah Haines. They were married 30 Sep 1790, place unknown,
when he was 23 and she was 20. They had
9 children, including John Haines Read, born 11 Sep 1795. He died 8 Oct 1853, in Logan, UT, at the age
of 86. [Interesting story] She died 10 Aug 1824 at the age of 54.
He was baptized by proxy 1 Jul 1884,
she on 24 Jun 1884. He was endowed 2 Jul
1884, she on 25 Jun 1884. They were
sealed to spouse on 22 Jul 1884. She was
sealed to parents 1 Jul 2002.
George
and Hannah Mathews Gregory
George Gregory was born 6 Nov 1755
in Philadelphia, PA, parents unknown.
Hannah Mathews was born 19 Sep 1755 in Philadelphia, PA, parents
unknown. They married 6 Jul 1777 when
they were each 21. They had 11 children
including Christiana, born 19 Mar 1795.
George died 7 Aug 1825 at the age of 69.
Hannah died 1808 at the age of 53.

1884, she on 26 Jun 1884. They were
